Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Ab Initio tools and data processing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building, optimizing, and maintaining ETL applications and data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio
- Work with Ab Initio BRE (Business Rules Environment) and Express>IT
- Develop high-performance data processing applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
Required Skills:
- 4–7 years of experience in Ab Initio development
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment)
- Ab Initio BRE and Express>IT
- Experience in ETL development and data warehousing concepts
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good to Have:
- Exposure to AWS Services
- Backend development experience in Java or Python
- Experience with:
- Spring Boot
- REST APIs
- Familiarity with modern data architectures and cloud-based solutions
