Job Title: Traveling Construction SuperintendentLocation: Projects across Texas, Kentucky, and North CarolinaSalary: $95,000 – $115,000 (based on experience)Travel Expenses: Fully CoveredA well-established construction firm is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent with extensive Tenant Improvement (TI) experience to lead commercial interior build-outs and renovation projects across Texas, Kentucky, and North Carolina. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels in fast-paced environments, coordinates multiple trades seamlessly, and consistently delivers high-quality interior TI projects on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of Tenant Improvement (TI) projects, from site prep to punch list and close-out.Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site crews to ensure interior improvements meet design intent and client specifications.Oversee rapid-schedule interiors, including demo, framing, MEP coordination, drywall, finishes, and specialty installations.Interpret blueprints, finish schedules, millwork drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate execution.Conduct routine site inspections to maintain quality control, safety, and schedule adherence.Proactively troubleshoot TI-related issues and coordinate timely solutions.Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, property managers, and internal project teams.Submit daily reports, track progress, document changes, and verify subcontractor work.Ensure proper handling of materials, fixtures, and finishes to meet high-quality standards.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience supervising Tenant Improvement (TI) projects (commercial interiors, retail, office, restaurants, medical preferred).Proven success managing multiple job sites and fast-turnaround interior TI build-outs.Ability and willingness to travel frequently; valid driver’s license required.Strong understanding of interior construction sequencing, finish coordination, and schedule-driven work.Proficiency with construction software such as Procore or PlanGrid, plus Microsoft Office Suite.OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Comfortable working in a high-paced, detail-focused environment.Physical RequirementsAbility to navigate active construction sites and work in various weather conditions.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience ($95,000 – $115,000).Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and recognized holidays.All travel expenses covered, including per diem.Opportunities for career development within a growing construction team.Job Tags: Tenant Improvements, TI Projects, Commercial Interiors, Subcontractor Coordination, Multi-Site Management, Field-Based, Travel Required, Construction Superintendent
