QA Engineer / Hybrid – Miami or Dallas, USA

Location: Hybrid – Miramar, FL (Tuesday to Thursday onsite) or Dallas, TX (typically 1 day/week)

Overview

Join a leading beverage distribution company as a QA Engineer IV specialized in SAP FICO/R2R modules. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and QA stakeholders to ensure that mission-critical SAP systems meet quality standards before deployment. This role combines hands-on testing, leadership in quality processes, and cross-functional collaboration to improve SAP logistics operations and enterprise performance.

This is a hybrid role, with in-person presence in Miramar, FL (3x/week) or Dallas, TX (1x/week), ideal for seasoned professionals with experience in SAP testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily production support for SAP FICO/R2R systems.
• Monitor and resolve tickets related to SAP FICO/R2R.
• Lead testing for large platforms (SAP, Ariba, Vertex, etc.), including coordination with 3rd-party QA teams.
• Drive test planning, test execution, documentation, and reporting using Tosca and HP ALM.
• Implement and optimize automated testing tools and QA processes.
• Conduct quality audits across IT functions; ensure compliance with testing standards.
• Perform end-to-end defect tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define test data and quality metrics.
• Participate in client requirement sessions and offer SAP best practices.
• Prepare and execute SAP FICO/R2R test cases and cycles.
• Support enhancements, escalations, and monitor support issue tracking.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and QA program evolution.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP Testing and QA across ECC 6 and FICO/R2R modules.
• Proven experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations and support environments.
• Familiarity with test management tools (Tosca, HP ALM).
• Deep understanding of SAP RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, user exits, enhancements.
• Experience in upgrades, especially ECC to S/4HANA.
• Cross-functional knowledge: MM, SD, HCM, PP, VISTEX, EWM.
• Strong technical background in SAP ABAP, debugging, and interface understanding.
• Proficiency in QA metrics reporting and test data creation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with experience working across business and IT.
• Experience with ServiceNow and devOps/CI-CD is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Knowledge of SAP Simple Finance or Central Finance.
• Experience in FSCM is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like Turnover, Solution Manager, and programming in Python, C#, Java, or Perl.
• Experience with 3rd party compliance QA reviews.
