Director of Sales and Marketing

A well-established assisted living and retirement community in L.A., is looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our occupancy growth efforts. This is a high-impact role focused on building relationships, converting leads, and driving move-ins.

We’re seeking someone who knows how to hustle, follow through, and make things happen. This position reports to the Executive Director. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the sales process—manage inquiries, conduct tours, follow up, and close move-ins

• Build occupancy through community outreach, referral relationships, and agency coordination

• Partner with the Administrator on marketing strategy, resident retention, and family relations

• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for new residents per RCFE licensing guidelines

• Coordinate and attend events, presentations, and outreach efforts to raise community visibility

• Regularly report on lead activity, conversions, and marketing performance

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in senior living, or healthcare

• Proven success in meeting or exceeding occupancy goals

• Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Gerontology, Healthcare Admin, or related field preferred

• Compassionate and professional with a strong sense of urgency

• Available Tuesday–Saturday
