Project Executive – Commercial Construction

Location: Burlington, MA
Salary: $190,000–$250,000 Bonus Outstanding Benefits

A highly respected, employee-owned construction management firm is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead multiple complex commercial construction projects while mentoring project teams and building long-term client relationships.

This is a key leadership position for someone who enjoys developing people, driving project success, and helping shape the future growth of an organization. You'll oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout while partnering closely with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and business development.

What You'll Do

As a Project Executive, you'll provide executive oversight for multiple construction projects while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal project teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Mentor and support Project Managers in achieving successful project outcomes.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and financial performance.
  • Review project status reports, forecasts, and risk assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Support preconstruction efforts, budgeting, estimating, and project pursuits.
  • Participate in client presentations, proposal development, and business development activities.
  • Resolve complex project challenges while maintaining exceptional client service.
  • Help establish strategic direction for assigned projects and market sectors.
  • Develop future leaders through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 15 years of progressively responsible commercial construction experience.
  • Proven success managing multiple large-scale projects and leading project teams.
  • Experience with academic, higher education, institutional, healthcare, or commercial construction is highly desirable.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts, and project forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable representing the company with clients, industry organizations, and business development opportunities.
