Developmental Specialist

Join May Institute’s Adult Services team, where you’ll support individuals with developmental disabilities through skill-building, daily care, and community integration—all in a respectful, person-centered environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Support daily activities, personal care, and behavior plans
• Teach life skills using evidence-based methods
• Collect data to track progress and inform support
• Foster individual choice, dignity, and participation
• Ensure safety in the program and during community outings
• Provide transportation as needed
What You Bring:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver’s license (2 years of experience preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to complete Safety Care, CPR/First Aid, and other trainings
