This role will serve as a key liaison between company operations, government affairs and external communications and the communities where Talen currently operates or is looking to develop a presence. The individual will develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders and organizations, create opportunities to promote Talen and raise its visibility in the community and foster a positive, strong reputation for Talen.

- Develop and execute community engagement strategies aligned with business objectives
- Build relationships with local leaders, community organizations, workforce partners, and stakeholders
- Coordinate community investment initiatives, sponsorships, and events
- Support plant leadership with local outreach and stakeholder communications
- Represent the company at community meetings, public events, and forums
- Monitor local issues and sentiment that may impact company operations or reputation
- Partner with government affairs and communications teams to align messaging and engagement
- Support economic development and workforce initiatives in local markets
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of experience in community relations, public affairs, communications, or stakeholder engagement
- Experience working with local governments or community organizations
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Experience in energy, industrial, or regulated environments preferred
