Talcott Law Group is a small general practice firm concentrating in Evictions, Foreclosures, Collections, Real Estate related matters as well as Estate Planning and Probate. We are actively growing and need the right litigation associate to further that growth.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Litigation Attorney. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting motions, and handling court appearances. The attorney will also be responsible for depositions. The attorney will be primarily responsible for evictions, foreclosures, collections and other general litigation matters. This role is located in Farmington, CT.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Law and handling various legal matters
- Experience with drafting and responding to Motions
- Familiarity with Courts and court procedures
- Experience with appearing in court on a variety of matters and motions
- Skilled in taking and defending Depositions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing of the Connecticut Bar
- Prior experience in litigation is preferred
Salary : $55,000 - $85,000
