Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic, personable bartender to join our taproom team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, educating guests about our ciders, and maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting bar environment. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with people, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in representing a local craft brand.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and serve guests in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner
Pour and serve cider, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards
Educate customers on cider styles, flavor profiles, and production methods
Make recommendations and guide tastings to enhance the guest experience
Operate POS system accurately for orders, tabs, and payments
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, taproom, and service areas
Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and inventory checks
Restock bar supplies, glassware, and merchandise as needed
Support events, live music nights, and special promotions
Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Qualifications
Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred (craft beverage experience a plus)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Interest in cider, craft beverages, or local agriculture
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Weekend and evening availability required
