Role Description
This part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is an on-site position located in Easton, MD. The CNA will be responsible for providing compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patients’ physical and emotional well-being, supporting families, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to provide individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with current and valid licensure in Maryland
- Proficiency in providing bedside care, including assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and their families compassionately
- Ability to perform accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and observations
- Experience with hospice or palliative care is preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work part-time hours and adaptable to changing patient care needs
- Emotional resilience and a patient-first approach to caregiving
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
