Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential properties. In this pivotal role, you will ensure properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and regulatory compliance is upheld. Your leadership will drive property performance, foster positive tenant relationships, and coordinate maintenance and leasing activities. Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Oversee property maintenance and facilities management, coordinating repairs, inspections, and vendor relationships to ensure properties remain in excellent condition.
- Utilize property management software (Appfolio) for data entry, lease processing, and reporting to streamline administrative tasks.
- Handle legal administrative responsibilities including lease agreements, contracts, eviction notices, and conflict resolution with tenants or vendors.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify issues early and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
- Develop and execute upselling strategies for additional services or unit upgrades to enhance revenue streams.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, tenant records, maintenance logs, and financial reports.
- Foster strong customer relationships through excellent phone etiquette, prompt communication, and personalized service.
- Coordinate with leasing teams to facilitate property tours and leasing negotiations that meet sales targets while adhering to Fair Housing laws.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management with a strong understanding of real estate administrative processes. This is not an entry level position.
- Proficiency in Appfolio is required.
- Demonstrated ability in conflict management, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and relationship management capabilities.
- Office experience including data entry, filing systems, and legal documentation handling.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for legal compliance and administrative accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
