Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prioritize, and supervise the work of staff engaged in billing, follow-up, denials, and pre-adjudication processes.
- Collaborate with department Directors and Managers to ensure adherence to policies, regulatory standards, and budget constraints.
- Recruit, hire, discipline, and manage employee performance, including progressive discipline and terminations.
- Monitor work quality by conducting random audits; address errors and support associates through in-service training.
- Ensure staffing levels and scheduling are adequate to meet departmental objectives.
- Support process improvements for increased accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental standards.
- Prepare reports and analyze billing data to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
