Our client, an established nonprofit providing Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) day services and community-based supports, is hiring for Senior Leadership, Programs (IDD) to lead strategic program direction, redesign and modernization of current programming, and operational oversight across multiple NJ locations.

Responsibilities
- Provide overall direction for community-based Day Programs, Supported Employment programs, and Behavioral Support Services.
- Recruit, hire, assign, schedule, and manage performance of Day Program Supervisors/Assistant Supervisors, Behavior Specialists, Supported Employment personnel, and Direct Care staff.
- Ensure all staff are trained in accordance with New Jersey minimum standards; conduct formal performance evaluations.
- Serve as College of Direct Support Administrator, agency EVV liaison, and Administrator for the agency’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, including ongoing staff education and training.
- Oversee billing and claims submission/reconciliation within the EHR system.
- Implement agency and day program policy and procedures; coordinate screening, admission, and treatment planning meetings for new recipients.
- Ensure programs and assigned vehicles are maintained in a clean and safe condition to support successful state audits.
- Monitor habilitative activities and implementation of behavior support plans as needed.
- Serve as Vice Chair of the agency Human Rights Committee and maintain information on evolving rules, policies, and laws affecting service delivery.
- Maintain active engagement with families, guardians, and stakeholders; promote community presence for all participants.
- Develop the annual department budget and work with CFS Finance to ensure sustainability.
- Liaise professionally with state representatives, provider associations, community organizations, and local government; maintain relationships with employers, vendors, and partner agencies.
- Review and evaluate day program activities for regulatory compliance; support consumer satisfaction assessments.
- Cooperate with management and DDD staff during audits, inspections, or investigations; perform other related duties as assigned.
- Manage three or more supervisory staff.
- Work location: Hybrid with up to 2 days remote, with assignment to NJ locations
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5 years in Developmental Disabilities; at least 3 years in program supervision.
- Demonstrated IDD community program experience, including designing/innovating and improving existing programs.
- Ability to maintain confidential, meticulous records; exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; high level of professionalism and integrity; ability to work independently with sound judgment.
- Ability to supervise and lead multiple supervisory roles.

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
