Responsibilities
- Perform approximately 11,000 mammogram studies and around 1,100 biopsies annually.
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment, including 3-D Hologic Dimension machines, stereotactic systems, CT scanners, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
- Collaborate with the Mammography and Women's Imaging department to provide diagnostic and screening services.
- Conduct biopsies and diagnostic mammograms, working closely alongside full-time mammographers, nurses, technologists, and the Breast Imaging Supervisor.
- Potentially participate in faculty activities at a top medical school, depending on interest and qualifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology, with specialized training or experience in breast imaging highly preferred.
- Board-certified or eligible in Radiology.
- Licensed to practice radiology in the State of New York.
- Ability to perform biopsies and diagnostic mammograms is essential.
- Additional beneficial skills include ultrasound proficiency and familiarity with advanced imaging technology.
