Responsibilities

• Deliver overnight inpatient medical care from 8 PM to 8 AM, managing new and existing patient cases with professionalism and expertise.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Mentor and teach residents, medical students, and junior staff, fostering educational growth and clinical competence.
• Document patient encounters thoroughly, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible to obtain a New York State medical license.
• Strong interest in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high clinical standards.
