Title: Director of Information Technology

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Information Technology to lead our technology operations, cybersecurity posture, infrastructure, and digital/AI transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking IT leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and can align technology with business goals to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation in a leading construction equipment manufacturing and distribution organization.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy and long-term technology roadmap.
- Oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and enterprise applications.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including threat monitoring, incident response, compliance, and risk management.
- Manage and mentor IT staff, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.
- Build and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments and strong ROI.
- Lead major IT projects such as system upgrades, cloud migrations, ERP/CRM implementations, and security enhancements.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of all critical systems.
- Maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, company JSOX requirements and parent company rules.
- Champion change management and user adoption across the organization.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Oversee the management of corporate help desk activities and resolve escalated issues if necessary

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8–12 years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles. Manufacturing and distribution experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), cybersecurity, enterprise applications and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience managing teams, budgets, and complex projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- CISSP, CISM, or similar security certifications
- ITIL Foundation or higher
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect)
