About Us
takeTECHforward is a student-led nonprofit dedicated to making technology education accessible to all. We organize virtual workshops, create educational resources, and build community chapters to empower students with coding, digital literacy, and other tech skills. Our mission is to bridge the gap in technology education and provide meaningful opportunities for young learners.
Roles Available:
Volunteer
- Create informational worksheets and educational resources on technology topics.
- Assist with virtual workshops, community initiatives, and administrative tasks.
- Communicate with participants and maintain records.
- Contribute to meaningful tech initiatives while earning volunteer hours.
Chapter Lead
- Launch and manage a takeTECHforward chapter in your community or virtual network.
- Organize virtual workshops, events, and programs for students.
- Recruit and mentor volunteers to support chapter activities.
- Track progress, maintain records, and collaborate with the main team.
- Expand access to technology education and make a real impact.
Qualifications (Both Roles)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Teamwork and dependability
- Basic technical knowledge or willingness to learn
- Passion for technology, education, and community service
