Overview
As a Junior DevOps Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll lead efforts to incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the teams to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like automation, cloud-based development, and open-source tools. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges.

Responsibilities
- Support Linux systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, software development, or system administration.
- Administer container platforms such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or EKS.
- Develop infrastructure as code using scripting languages including Ansible, Python, Bash, and Terraform to automate capabilities.
- Contribute to complex build systems and participate in an Agile SDLC environment.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to calls on a 24/7 basis every 4 to 6 weeks.
- Identify integration opportunities and assist in introducing new hardware or software into existing environments with minimal disruption.
- Collaborate on creating automated DevSecOps pipelines leveraging Cloud service providers like AWS and Azure.
- Manage and configure Opensearch clusters, including index lifecycle management.
Qualifications
- Support experience with Linux systems engineering or related fields (1 years).
- Experience administering container platforms such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or EKS (1 years).
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, Ansible, and Terraform (1 years).
- Familiarity with complex build systems and SDLC processes.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Desired Skills
- Developing back-end software applications.
- Leveraging cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure for automation pipelines.
- Configuring Opensearch clusters and managing index lifecycle.
- Working with security scanning tools and vulnerability remediation.
