What You’ll Be Doing:
- Caring for dogs and cats during their stay—feeding, monitoring, giving medications, and making sure they’re happy and healthy.
- Playing and supervising walks and playgroups (yes, fun is part of the job!).
- Keeping our facility clean and safe—it’s just as important as cuddle time.
- Checking pets in and out and updating pet parents on how their pets are doing.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Comfortable working an overnight shift (9 PM – 6:30 AM). This shift allows for sleep, with responsibilities focused on being on site in the boarding facility for any needs that arise during the night.
- Reliable – Pets depend on us, and we need to depend on you.
- Team-Oriented – We’re a tight-knit group and help each other out.
- Attentive – You notice the little things, like a dog not eating or acting differently.
- Physically ready – You’ll be on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in all kinds of weather.
- Patient & Kind – Some pets need extra TLC, and that’s where you shine.
Perks & Pay:
- Hourly Pay: $15–$17/hour based on experience. If you’ve worked in pet care before, you may start higher within this range.
- Tips: Average $2–$3 extra/hour— not including cash tips!
- Holiday Pay: Time and a half.
- Overnight Pay: Earn $68.88 to $118 per night depending on your regular hours worked.
- Health Insurance Options: Including dental & vision after a short waiting period.
- Paid Time Off, Bonuses, and opportunities to grow into higher-paying roles.
- Pet CPR/First Aid Certification: We cover this within your first 90 days.
