What You'll Do
As a Shop Manager, you'll be responsible for running a successful Take 5 Oil Change location.
- Lead, coach, and motivate your team to achieve daily and weekly goals
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Drive sales, revenue, and overall shop performance
- Recruit, train, and develop employees
- Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, and daily operations
- Monitor sales results, labor costs, inventory, and performance metrics
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure company policies and operating procedures are followed
- Build a positive team culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and results
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Experience:
- Retail store management
- Automotive service or quick lube management
- Restaurant or fast-paced service management
- Sales management and performance coaching
- Experience managing staffing, scheduling, inventory, or budgets
Automotive experience is a plus, but strong leadership experience is what matters most!
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on management position. Candidates must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Work in indoor and outdoor shop environments
- Bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks as needed
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
