Take 5 Oil Change is looking for Lube tech candidates who are interested in growing their automotive career! We will train you on the Take 5 standards for changing oil, replacing wiper blades/air filters, filling air in tires, and other light maintenance services. Our employees are successful with all backgrounds and experience levels. Take 5 offers a stay-in-your-car hassle free oil change experience.
Lube techs help ensure that all customer vehicles are serviced properly, company procedures and policies are followed, and every customer is treated with the utmost courtesy at all times. Provide exceptional customer service and technical aptitude relating to changing oil and performing minor vehicle maintenance for our customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Typical Duties:
- Draining Motor oil, Changing oil filters, Greasing chassis fittings
- Washing windshields and adjusting tire pressure
- Inspecting and topping off fluids
- Perform coolant exchanges and fill services
- Assisting the customer in selecting oil type and other services
- Process Payments for services performed
- Restocking and maintaining inventory of product
- Maintaining shop cleanliness - Including the bays, office, bathroom and stock area
Requirements: Good to Know Before You Start!
- Must be able to communicate well with customers
- Must be adaptive to change
- Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars
- You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
- You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions
- Always be alert and aware of your surroundings
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Need to have reliable transportation
