Job Summary: The Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting the Strategic Procurement Managers in sample requests, paperwork coordination, maintenance of SAP procurement parameters, and analyzing spend and identifying cost and cash savings opportunities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support procurement managers on operational needs (i.e. supplier follow ups, ad hoc analysis, SAP updates etc)
- Interface with quality, regulatory, and commercial teams on supplier certifications, follow-ups, and costing needs
- Resolution and Daily Support of Supplier Related Concerns to limit impact to Production
- Analyze monthly cost/cash report and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist with alternate sourcing process. Request/log samples and documentation from suppliers. Interface with Quality and Regulatory groups internally to ensure swift approval.
- Develop and deliver ad-hoc reporting and analytical projects in collaboration with procurement teams and other cross-functional partners
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of business experience, preferably within the Flavor & Fragrance or other associated industries.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the procurement function
- Financial analysis or supply chain analysis
- Ability to plan and follow up with daily tasks

Physical Demands: Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines which include a computer, printer, copy machine, calculator, telephone, etc. Must be able to work, move or carry objects or materials. Intermittent physical activity, including bending, reaching and prolonged periods of sitting. Physical demand requirements are at levels of those for sedentary office work.
