Role and Responsibilities
- Upholds and enacts applicable regulatory requirements to the site management including pending industry changes, trends, and best practices, assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes.
- Supports management in the development of quarterly and annual audit metrics in regards to environmental, health and safety and identify and communicate systematic issues for further comprehensive action.
- Oversees the documentation of compliance activities while ensuring appropriate reporting is being filed with regulatory agencies.
- Identify compliance issues that require follow–up or investigation.
- Conduct periodic internal reviews and/or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.
- Provide training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
- Be a point of contact with our legal department as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issues.
- Maintain PPE and inventory management
- Compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain ISO14001 Program
- Maintain ISO45001 Program
- Maintain CO2 and ESG reporting
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, or related field, or technical experience in EHS or ISO management systems
- 4 years of regulatory compliance experience within the manufacturing industry with demonstrated experience in applying compliance program and regulatory compliance concepts.
- A strong and deep understanding of compliance laws, regulations and standards.
- Experience developing compliance policies and procedures. Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
