Machine Operator (Entry Level)

Job Description Role and Responsibilities

• Set up machine (calibration, cleaning, etc.) per documented work instructions or other requirements to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings as required.
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automate machines.
• Inspect parts with precision tools, test the operation of machines periodically and maintain a machine activity log.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Check output to spot any machine related mistake or flaws.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 1 to 2 years machine operating experience.
• Working Knowledge of diverse high speed machinery and measurement tools.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Good mathematical skills and analytical abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Technical school, vocational school, or apprenticeship preferred but not needed.'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
