Job Title: Workday Subject Matter Expert

Duration of project: 18 months or longer with possible extension

Require a minimum of 2 years of experience administering or supporting enterprise systems such as Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Reporting.
Baltimore County seeks a Workday Subject Matter Expert to support configuration, integration development, reporting, and enterprise HR/Payroll/Finance functions.
The SME will assist with post-implementation enhancements, system optimization, technical documentation, and coordination with multiple internal divisions
Demonstrated experience with Workday implementation and/or post-production support.
Workday certifications or verifiable equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations including EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and SOAP/REST APIs.
Configure business processes, calculated fields, validations, and condition rules according to County requirements.
Develop and maintain custom Workday reporting, dashboards, and automated scheduling.
Monitor integration schedules, troubleshoot issues, and maintain connections with third-party vendors.
Document design decisions and provide Workday technical support to stakeholder groups.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams and participate in change control processes
