Internship OverviewThe TAIT Internship program is a fully immersive, experiential program. Interns are placed in a department based on their major and interests, but it is up to them to set goals and define their experience at TAIT. Position: Project Coordinator Intern

Location: LA/Hybrid/Remote

Duration: June 2026 – August 2026

Compensation: $18/hr

Schedule: Interns are scheduled to work 40 hours per week on 1st shift, dependent on projects and business needs

Intern Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a Project Coordinator Intern, you will work closely with the Project Management Team to support project leads and team members in planning, organizing, and executing projects. You’ll gain exposure to the production process, internal team/client/vendor relationships, and the fast-paced world of live entertainment and experiential design. Responsibilities may include:

• Maintain calendars and production schedules, coordinating internal and external resources for project-related meetings
• Organize and maintain project files in Google Drive, Box, Microsoft SharePoint, and Slack
• Assist with distribution of production and creative documentation for assigned projects
• File and archive documents as needed
• Prepare and submit expense reports, purchase requisitions, and related documentation
• Coordinate with internal resources (Designers, Technical, and Production teams) to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule
• Support prep, packaging, delivery, and distribution of project-related deliverables and materials
• Conduct project-related research to assist planning and execution
• Take accurate and complete meeting notes, distribute summaries, and track action items
• Participate in overall office operations, including front desk coverage and internal event coordination
  
  

Qualifications

To qualify for this internship, you must meet the following:

• Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent in a related field:
• Project Management
• Business Administration
• Communications
• Event Management
• Graduating between December 2025 – May 2027
• GPA: 2.8 or above
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, creative environment
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines with initiative and follow-through
