KITCHEN MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager who's passionate about crafting delicious food, leading a high performing team and delivering a memorable culinary experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Partners with the GM to lead a rock star team.
• Train, supervise, and coach kitchen staff to deliver consistent food quality and great service.
• Communicate information to kitchen staff.
• Assist in scheduling kitchen staff in their work assignments.
• Promote a positive guest experience, resolving any issues professionally and quickly.
• Responsible to monitor as well as take action to make sure food quality service standards are met.
• Monitor food preparation and ensure consistent quality, taste and presentation.
• Minimizing loss misuse.
• Ensure safe, responsible and legal serving of all alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained as outlined in the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering as well as retrieving supplies plus stocking by stooping, bending, lifting heavy articles reaching overhead.
• Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation.

Qualifications/Skills:

• MUST HAVE 2 YEARS CULINARY EXPERIENCE, preferably kitchen management.
• Capable of working in a standing position for long periods of time (minimum of 8 hours a day).
• Capable of reaching, bending, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Some weekend days required as well as mornings and evenings.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background check.
• ServSafe certified.
