- Review and interpret construction plans and electrical drawings, providing clarity for field teams and ensuring accurate implementation.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Civil Engineering Project Management Software to track progress, manage costs, and update project documentation.
- Assist in construction estimating by analyzing plans, quantities, and labor requirements to support accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
- Conduct site inspections to verify electrical work quality, safety standards adherence, and progress against schedules.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, including cost management data using Excel data analysis techniques for effective decision-making.
- Support contract administration by reviewing contracts related to electrical scope of work and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Manage time effectively across multiple tasks by prioritizing activities that keep projects on schedule while maintaining high safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site coordination or electrical project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools; experience with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Familiarity with heavy civil engineering projects, including construction plans, electrical drawings, and civil engineering project management software.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets for cost control and schedule optimization using Excel data analysis techniques.
- Prior involvement in construction estimating processes and contract management is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software like ProCore, Prolog, or HeavyBid will be advantageous.
