Tailspin Pet Resort & Daycare is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team! We are currently hiring for both Front Desk and Back of House positions.
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care for our guests and outstanding customer service to their owners. We're looking for team members who are dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely passionate about animal care.
Front Desk Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly, professional manner.
- Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and communicate with clients.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and general facility upkeep.
- Support back-of-house operations as needed.
Back of House Responsibilities
- Supervise dogs during daycare, outdoor playtime, and other activities.
- Provide daily care for boarding and daycare guests, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their well-being.
- Recognize canine body language and help maintain a safe, positive environment.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize accommodations, play areas, and common spaces.
- Follow established safety, sanitation, and animal care protocols.
- Communicate guest concerns or behavioral changes to management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to the commercial cleaning and sanitation products used in our facility.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable handling dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous experience in animal care, boarding, daycare, veterinary medicine, or customer service is preferred but not required.
Scheduling Requirements
- Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Please review the following requirements carefully before applying:
- Weekend availability is mandatory. Applicants who are unavailable to work weekends will not be considered. Animals require care 365 days a year, so this is NOT a 9-5.
- Full-shift availability is required. We cannot accommodate shortened shifts, early departures, or schedules that conflict with our established shift times.
- Applicants must have consistent, reliable availability that meets the operational needs of our facility.
What to Expect
Working at a pet resort is rewarding, but it is not simply playing with dogs all day. Animal care involves significant cleaning, physical activity, close attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
All positions, including Front Desk, involve cleaning and sanitation responsibilities. We believe every team member plays an important role in maintaining the high standards our guests and their owners expect.

This position works both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions — including the heat of summer. We let the dogs call the shots, so if they’re out having fun playing in the rain or soaking up the sunshine, we’re right there with them.
