Responsibilities
- Take dogs on enjoyable walks tailored to their size, breed, and energy level, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
- Provide pet sitting services for dogs and cats that include feeding, litter box cleaning for cats, administering medication if needed, and maintaining routines to keep pets comfortable and secure
- Handle animals with care using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and handlers
- Maintain detailed journals of visits, including pet behaviors, feeding schedules, and any health concerns observed during visits
Requirements
- Prior experience in dog training, animal handling, or pet sitting is highly desirable
- Ability to handle dogs confidently using animal restraint techniques
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with pet owners and team members
- Physical fitness for multiple walks with large dogs in all kinds of weather
- Responsible, dependable, punctual, motivated and organized
- Great time management skills
- Can work independently, follow instructions and problem solve on their own
- Enjoys flexible work hours
- Willing to work evenings, weekends and Holidays
- Has a reliable car and a valid driver's license
- Has a reliable smart phone and can download our Pet Sitting app
- Able to pass a background check
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
