Job Description
The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for leading all sales activities, driving revenue growth, and managing daily floor operations. Individual responsibilities include training and supervising Retail Sales Associates, ensuring outstanding customer service, monitoring inventory, and overseeing visual merchandising display standards. The Retail Sales Manager leads by example on the sales floor, handles escalated customer inquiries, ensures financial transactions are balanced, and implements strategies to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
The Sales Manager must process payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards. Must also be able to deal with customer refunds courteously and professionally. Maintains a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm, reflecting the store's commitment to our customers. Know extensive product knowledge by knowing and comprehending current vendor tags and pamphlets and attending training classes in order to communicate it to customers of all demographics. They must also stay current with promotional events and sales.
Requirements for Sales Manager
The sales manager must have previous retail experience, with a proven track record of supervising and motivating a sales team to sell specific products or push new merchandise. You must possess strong business acumen, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to professionally resolve customer and staff conflicts. Proficiency with POS systems, cash auditing, and aligning the sales floor to Tailored West’s website and brand standards is required. Physically, you must dress for success. Maintaining a refreshed, while professional wardrobe is required, as well as wearing current Tailored West fashions.
Physical demands:This position involves constant moving, talking, listening, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least five consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders and stairs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35lbs and be prepared for lots of heavy lifting. Customer service focus. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service. Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Sales & Customer Experience Excellence
- Lead by example on the sales floor, greeting customers, introducing promotions, and cross-selling products.
