Tailored Events is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our event marketing activities and help drive attendance, engagement, and brand awareness across our events portfolio. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys face-to-face engagement, creative promotion, and delivering exceptional event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and execution of on-site marketing and promotional activities for events
- Support the creation and distribution of printed marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, signage, and event collateral
- Represent the company at events, exhibitions, networking functions, and community engagement activities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for audience growth and brand visibility
- Coordinate promotional partnerships, sponsorship activations, and local marketing initiatives
- Maintain marketing databases, attendee records, and event registration information
- Track and report on event attendance, engagement levels, and marketing effectiveness
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, exhibitors, and external partners to support event delivery
- Work closely with the Events team to ensure all marketing activity aligns with event objectives and brand standards
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or a related discipline (desirable)
- Previous experience in event marketing, promotions, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence interacting with clients, attendees, and external stakeholders in person
- A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to support events outside standard office hours when required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
