Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and partnering closely with the CEO, Executive Committee, and leaders from across the organization, this leader will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Develop and own the enterprise investor relations strategy aligned with Tailored Brands’ long-term business and capital structure objectives.
- Craft a compelling, consistent equity story that clearly articulates our strategy, financial profile, competitive differentiation, and progress against key initiatives.
- Partner with the CFO, CEO, Strategy, and Brand/Communications to ensure tight alignment between internal plans, external messaging, and broader corporate communications.
- Synthesize investor and analyst feedback, valuation trends, and sector developments into clear, actionable insights for the CFO, CEO, and Board.
- Provide scenario analysis and messaging recommendations for major corporate events (M&A, strategic investments, capital structure changes, governance updates, etc.).
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the investment community, including institutional investors, equity and credit analysts, ratings agencies, and other capital markets stakeholders.
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective shareholders; develop a systematic approach to investor targeting and outreach.
- Lead the development of quarterly earnings materials.
- Partner with FP&A and Strategy to align guidance frameworks, performance narratives, and key performance indicators with external expectations.
- Ensure all investor communications adhere to Reg FD, SEC regulations, and internal governance standards in partnership with Legal.
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, or similar capital markets roles, with meaningful time in a lead IR capacity strongly preferred. Experience in retail, consumer, or multi-banner environments is strongly preferred; experience with omnichannel or transformation contexts is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required; MBA, CFA, or similar advanced credentials are a plus.
- Deep familiarity with public-company disclosure practices, SEC rules (including Reg FD), and earnings/quarterly reporting cycles, and demonstrated experience leading investor days, earnings cycles, roadshows, and conference participation.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and ratings agencies alongside strong analytical skills with fluency in financial modeling, valuation frameworks, and peer/sector analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and coach senior leaders for external forums.
- Demonstrated ability to use modern AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to enhance day-to-day work, with a commitment to learning new applications as they evolve.

- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from one of our Corporate offices on a flex work schedule or a remote office location

Salary : $162,302 - $186,596
