Duties

• Measure clients accurately to ensure perfect fit and comfort for each gown
• Construct, alter, and tailor bridal gowns according to specific designs and customer preferences
• Operate sewing machines and other garment construction tools with precision and care
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, offering expert advice on styles and alterations
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship by inspecting finished garments for quality and accuracy
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Keep detailed records of measurements, alterations, and customizations for each gown

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or tailoring in bridal wear
• Skilled in operating sewing machines and other tailoring equipment efficiently
• Strong understanding of fabric types, garment fitting, and sewing techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating fabric needs, and adjusting patterns
• Knowledge of fashion trends related to bridal wear is a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful garments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
