Field Service Mechanic – Vending Equipment
Tailor Made Vending – Oʻahu, HawaiiJoin a locally owned vending company serving Oʻahu for over 30 years!
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Field Service Mechanic to maintain and repair vending equipment throughout the island. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair snack, beverage, and refrigerated vending machines
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Install, move, and set up vending equipment
- Maintain service records and communicate repair needs
- Respond to service calls at customer locations throughout Oʻahu
- Work closely with route drivers and operations staff
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical knowledge required
- Refrigeration experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and move equipment safely
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must have clean criminal record to obtain certain badges
