Dog Kennel Technician

Tailchasers Barrington Pet Resort is hiring reliable, attentive, and motivated pet lovers to join our team. No previous experience is required—we’ll train you.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and manage dog playgroups
• Provide pet spa services (baths, nail trims/grinds, teeth brushing, ear cleaning)
• Keep kennels and pet lodging areas clean and sanitized
• Feed pets and administer medications as directed
• Help reinforce basic dog training commands (sit, stay, wait)
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather, on your feet for most of your shift
  
  

Schedule & Hours

Part-time (up to 29 hours/week):

• 6:50 am – 12:30 pm
• 12:20 pm – 6:00 pm
• 6:50 am – 10:00 am
• 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  
  

Full-time (30 hours/week):

• 6:50 am – 12:30pm
• 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  
  

(Shift availability may vary.)

What We’re Looking For

• US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
• Able to pass a background check
• 16 years of age or older
• Friendly and professional with customers
• Dependable, teachable, and flexible
• Able to:
• Lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Stand for up to 6 hours at a time
• Basic computer/tablet skills
