Pet Groomer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry clients. You will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while creating a positive and safe environment for pets. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, strong grooming skills, and the ability to handle various breeds with care and compassion.

Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
• Utilize proper animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both pets and staff during grooming sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any concerns observed during grooming.
• Provide additional services such as pet sitting or basic training as needed.
• Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history and any special requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal care is preferred.
• Strong skills in animal handling, restraint, and care.
• Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs.
• Certification in pet grooming or completion of a recognized grooming program is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
