SUMMARY
Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Accounts Payable
- Process and enter all vouchers and invoices for payment.
- Verify voucher details, attach packing slips, and obtain approvals as needed.
- Code vouchers to purchase orders and update related spreadsheets.
- Maintain organized AP and voucher files.
- Handle wire and ACH transfers as required.
- Prepare monthly payment advice and communicate with vendors
Inventory and Purchasing Support
- Update and maintain the monthly inventory reconciliation sheet.
- Assist with month-end and year-end inventory coordination.
- Prepare boat shipment and sales/purchase data for reconciliation.
Reporting and Month-End Tasks
- Prepare monthly and year-end purchasing and accounting reports.
- Code and report royalties for Parent Company vouchers.
- Process offsets to Parent Company payments and communicate with Japan offices.
- Provide confirmation requests and maintain related correspondence.
Compliance and Documentation
- Maintain W-9 forms and ensure annual 1099 processing and mailing.
- Keep accurate records of all vouchers, payments, and supporting documents.
General
- Perform additional duties and support accounting or purchasing functions as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred or equivalent AP experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Tracking Budget Expenses, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Organization, Analyzing Information, Accounting, Vendor Relationhips, PC Proficiency, Data Entry Skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Possess good interpersonal skills, including written and verbal.
MAHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, and percentages to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve problems, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
