Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of bubble tea drinks, including shaking, blending, and assembling ingredients with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, answer questions about menu items, and recommend popular beverages
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and serving
