Cinema Manager

The cinema manager oversees the successful operations of a cinema to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance the facility’s reputation.

Responsibilities Include:

· Greet and ticket guests

· Inspect the grounds, public areas, storage, and office areas and ensure cleanliness

· Ensure compliance with all brand/company standards

· Answer customer questions about services, policies, and answer all guest feedback

· Keep track of business financials, create budgets, and control expenses while maximizing revenues

· Recruit, interview, hire, train, evaluate, discipline, and terminate staff

· Actively market the business through social media, review sites, and local marketing

· Developing relationships with local businesses to encourage sponsorship and advertising opportunities.

· Monitor inventory of all supplies and replenish as needed while comparing prices between vendors

· Create and foster a safe, healthy, and positive work environment

· Projector operation

· Completing required reporting paperwork

· Maintain cash drawers and conduct regular cash deposits

· Reporting box office revenues to studios.

· Booking and facilitating live acts.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Ability to lead a group of individuals

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Knowledge of all cinemas operating procedures

· Ability to create and manage budgets

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

· Technologically inclined able to operate projection systems, personal computers, and Microsoft Office programs

Requirements

· A minimum of two years of supervisory experience

· Associates degree or equivalent experience

· Ability to be Serve-Safe Management certified

· Have reliable transportation to procure supplies and make deposits as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
