Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Vacation Rental Cleaner to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of our vacation rental properties.
This role is vital in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience by providing thorough cleaning and sanitation services. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Experience in residential or commercial cleaning, hospitality, or housekeeping is helpful and preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.
This is a 1099 position, so a reliable vehicle and driver's license, a business license, and the ability to obtain and/or maintain your own commercial/business liability insurance are a must. We launder all linens off site, so cleaning crews only focus is the cleaning. Our laundry technicians handle the processing and laundering of all linens. Competitive wages paid out on a per house basis (not an hourly wage).
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of vacation rental properties, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Sanitize all surfaces, including countertops, appliances, fixtures, and furniture to meet health standards.
- Vacuum carpets, and/or sweep and mop floors.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and kitchen essentials to ensure properties are guest ready.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas and ensure all spaces meet company standards before guest check-in.
- Report minor maintenance issues and any repairs needed to management promptly.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple properties effectively and within turnover timeframes.
- Excellent work ethic with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling of chemicals.
