The Tahoe City Public Utility District is seeking qualified individuals to work in our Utilities Department this spring/summer. Duties Include:
- Perform semi-skilled to skilled preventive maintenance and repairs on District mechanical equipment, including light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles, heavy equipment, golf course mowers, turf maintenance equipment, small tools, generators, and other mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Perform maintenance and repairs in a variety of weather conditions and under physically demanding environments, in compliance with established safety procedures and practices
- Possesses a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Is reliable and punctual
- Is team-oriented
- Has mechanical aptitude; experience as a mechanic or working with equipment is preferred
