Position - Housekeeper

Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor
Supervises: Supervisory duties are not required.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent desired.
- One year of comparable work is preferred.

- Knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning, and preserving a wide variety of surfaces.
- Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
- Knowledgeable about and able to perform required roles in emergencies.
Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Ensure the highest standards of sanitation, safety, comfort, cleanliness, and aesthetics of the Tahoe Beach Club Clubhouse. Administer all housekeeping services for the clubhouse, pool, beach, parking, and employee areas around the property.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Strip and make beds with fresh linen.
- Empty wastebaskets.
- Clean and maintain the Clubhouse.
- Wipe all windowsills, walls, and light switches.
- Vacuum rugs and clean floors.
- Sweeps patio area and dusts patio furniture.
- Calls in work orders.
- Clean locker room, shower areas.
- Maintain exterior of clubhouse building.
- Clean walls throughout the clubhouse as necessary.
- Conduct deep cleaning projects.
- Dust exercise equipment.
- Clean employee areas including employee restrooms.
- Vacuum elevators; clean stairwells and landings.
- Dust light fixtures throughout the clubhouse.
- Dust all furniture and fixtures.
- Checks lamps for burned-out light bulbs.
- Wipes mirrors and windows.
- Assure that we meet OSHA requirements.
- May attend safety committee meetings.
- Change mattress pads and blankets if needed.
- Clean and sanitize toilets.
- Wash tiles, tub, shower walls, and fixtures.
- Clean sinks and fixtures.
- Clean walls, baseboards, and floors.
- Restock towels, washcloths, soap, and other supplies and amenities.
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Perform other appropriate tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.
· Use ladders when required.
· The position may expose the employee to human blood pathogens or infectious materials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
