What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Staff position at Tahoe Beach and Ski Club?
Immediate Opening! We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to handle light to moderate property maintenance, as well as the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. This position will require flexibility and dependability in scheduling, and ability to work alone. In addition to maintenance the successful candidate will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.
Responsibilities
- Property maintenance including building, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Patrol premises regularly when not engaged in maintenance duties.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Valid California Driver's License
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Trained in First Aid/BLS
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
