What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Tahlequah Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine?
Medical Assistant or LPN for fast paced Orthopedic clinic.
Candidate must have at least 1 year experience, be flexible, have a positive attitude, great interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
Job duties include:
-Interviewing patients
-Use of Electronic Medical Records
-Coordinate patient orders and referrals
-Assisting providers with in office procedures such as injections.
-Wound care
-Medication Refills and Prior authorizations
-Surgery Scheduling
-Cast removal-Suture and Staple removal-Standing 50-75% of the day
-Understand sterile technique
