EWMS is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time IT Support Technician to assist with day-to-day technology needs. This role focuses on maintaining equipment, supporting staff, and ensuring systems remain functional and secure.
This is a part-time, in-person position (approximately 4 hours per day, MondayFriday) based in our office.
Responsibilities:
- Set up computers, user accounts, and software for new employees
- Maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, and other office equipment
- Provide basic technical support to staff (hardware, software, and connectivity issues)
- Assist with routine system updates, antivirus monitoring, and general IT maintenance
- Help manage inventory of devices, accessories, and software licenses
- Support organization of files, backups, and equipment
- Escalate more complex issues to senior IT support as needed
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and common office software
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine technical issues
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Good communication skills and ability to assist non-technical users
- Dependable and able to work independently within assigned responsibilities
Preferred (but not required):
- Prior IT support or help desk experience
- Familiarity with printers, basic networking, and office IT environments
- Relevant coursework, certification, or hands-on experience
