Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Prior Authorization Support team member to join our Ordering Team.
In this role, you will assist the Prior Authorization Specialists with processing requests specific to the DEEOIC program. This position focuses on gathering information, preparing documentation, and supporting timely and accurate authorization submissions. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing prior authorization requests for DME in accordance with DOL DEEOIC guidelines
- Gather and organize patient information, medical documentation, and equipment details needed for submissions
- Support the preparation of Letters of Medical Necessity (LMNs), justifications, and other supporting documentation
- Communicate with internal teams to obtain missing information and ensure complete authorization packets
- Track authorization requests and assist with follow-ups on pending cases
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems
- Ensure compliance with DOL regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and internal company policies
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Prior Authorization team
