Position Overview
The Automotive Body Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to manufacturer and safety standards in a fast-paced, flat-rate environment. This role involves vehicle disassembly, executing repairs per OEM procedures, and ensuring high-quality standards before delivery.
Schedule
Full-time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform collision repair and restoration to meet manufacturer and safety standards
- Disassemble vehicles to identify visible and hidden damage
- Follow OEM repair procedures and specifications
- Complete repairs as per work orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Work with various materials including metals, plastics, glass, and mechanical components
- Perform welding and structural repairs as required
- Install replacement parts according to specifications
- Collaborate with estimators and production teams for supplements and workflow efficiency
- Conduct quality checks and self-inspections before vehicle delivery
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements
- 3 years of automotive body repair experience (structural & non-structural)
- Experience working in a fast-paced collision repair environment
- Ability to meet productivity and quality standards
- Must own required tools
- I-CAR certification (preferred; Platinum is a plus)
- Ability to read and follow repair orders and OEM procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements
