Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
- Assist with food handling duties including serving, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Ensure a safe, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation standards and operating kitchen equipment properly
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety management practices
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in retail or food industry settings
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and operating kitchen or café equipment is a plus
