Taggart Plumbing is hiring a full-time Plumber's Helper to join our growing team.

No plumbing experience is required.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, mechanically inclined, and interested in learning a skilled trade. You'll work directly alongside experienced plumbers while gaining hands-on experience with residential plumbing service, installation, sewer, water line, and excavation work.

This isn't just a general labor position. For the right person, it can be the first step toward becoming a professional plumber.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Start time: 7:30 AM
• Full-time position
• No overnight travel
• Local Pittsburgh-area work

What You'll Do

You'll assist our plumbers with day-to-day residential plumbing projects, including:

• Assist with plumbing repairs and installations
• Help install water, drain, waste, and vent piping
• Assist with toilets, faucets, water heaters, and other plumbing equipment
• Help with sewer and water service replacements
• Assist with excavation and underground plumbing work
• Dig, shovel, backfill, and prepare work areas
• Carry and organize tools and materials
• Load and unload trucks and equipment
• Set up and clean up job sites
• Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and organized
• Protect customers' floors, walls, furniture, and property
• Maintain clean and professional work areas
• Follow company safety procedures
• Learn proper plumbing installation and repair techniques
• Assist plumbers with other tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

Plumbing experience is NOT required.

We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and work ethic.

• Willing to keep trucks, tools, and job sites clean and organized

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
